Working gas in storage declined of 111 Bcf to sit at 1,626 Bcf as of Friday, March 5, 2010, according to the Energy Information Agency (“EIA”) estimates reported Thursday. The decline was inline with expectations, as analysts polled by Platts expected a drop of between 108 and 112 Bcf. Natural gas inventories were 71 Bcf less than last year at this time and 19 Bcf above the 5-year average of 1,607 Bcf.
