Weekly net natural gas deliveries were up from the previous week. The U.S. Energy Information Administration (”EIA”) reported that U.S. natural gas inventories increased by 25 billion cubic feet (”Bcf”) for the week ended October 23, 2009 (prevvious week was an increase of 18 Bcf) bringing the amount of natural gas in storage to 3,759 Bcf. Natural gas inventories were 373 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 414 Bcf above the 5-year average of 3,345 Bcf.
